Who is it for? 

The two treatments DMK Cryo Pro-X™ and DMK Quick Peel can be combined together, alternated weekly, or applied as single stand-alone treatments.  Each provides outstanding results for sun-damaged skin, and is environmentally damaged due to outside elements. Heavily aged skin, due to the passage of time or insufficient and irregular skin care and maintenance. And those with a large build-up of dead cells (due to any of the above), inhabiting the process of new cell growth, can again look luminous and youthful after this treatment. 

Those struggling with acne, dermatitis, rosacea and other inflamed skin conditions can also benefit from DMK’s newest medical-grade skin treatment protocol, as this is a full spectrum exfoliation of your skin's natural microbiome and will not destroy any part of your skin’s barrier, only good will come from this type of treatment.

What’s involved?

We only invest in treatments we have tried ourselves and can tell you from experience what it feels like, how it works and what to expect during the process. 

The Treatment Procedure

First, a trained skin therapist will cleanse your face, neck and decolletage with our new DMK MD Enbioment cleanser, which leaves the skin soft, hydrated and balanced. 

DMK Quick Peel will then be placed over the treatment area. This product has been known to give a ‘chilli pepper’ sensation, which is a pseudo heat effect feeling on the skin. This will not burn your skin and is only left on for around 3 -5 minutes, depending on the thickness of your old dead skin. 

When it’s time a soothing warm towel removes the peel, and DMK Sebum Soak is applied, followed by DMK Epitoxyl for another 3-5 minutes.  At times up, a warm water wash occurs to remove the Epitoxyl and the skin is patted dry. 

Next, the Cryo Pro-X™ (the cool and cutting-edge part of the treatment) will be applied to the skin avoiding the eyes and upper eyelids. Cotton circles will be provided to prevent any irritation to the eye area during the treatment process. The Cryo Pro-X™ remains on your skin initially for 3 minutes, and your skin therapist will check in with you every so often to gauge the icing effect you are experiencing on a scale of 1-10.  For example, “does your skin feel cool, cold or freezing?” and “out of 10, one being room temperature, and ten being freezing, what would you rate your skin presenting at, at this time?”.

Remembering that the Cryo Pro-X™ is all about freezing, fracturing and having your dead skin cells fall away, it’s about to get a little cooler as a DMK Cold Clay mask is applied and moulded to your face. During this time, you will again be asked how you are feeling and the level at which the cold sensation is on your face out of 10.  The Cryo Pro-X™ gel is applied to your face for a total of 11 minutes, after this, it is removed with a warm, moist towel, and then your skin therapist will continue with DMK enzyme and any other treatments required to address your skin’s individual needs. 

For those with extensive sun damage and leathery aged skin and who wish to achieve fast results, the Cryo Pro-X™ treatment and Quick Peel treatments can be administered as a single treatment on alternate weeks for up to a duration of 60 days. 

For those with acne, dermatitis, rosacea and other inflamed skin conditions, the Cryo Pro-X™ can be a single treatment on its own, once a week, for a total of 30 days.
